Like I just said in a previous post, if I don't do it - it > won't get done. Glad to know I'm not the only one in this situation. We have no other kids but this one on the way and I have had a toothache the last week and NO energy so the house is a mess. Hubby will take me by the hand say " Don't worry about it! " and sit me down. I actually kiss him and thank him and then go take a nap before I wake up, see the mess still there and realize " don't worry about it " DOESN'T mean ... " because I'll do it dear. " it means " Don't worry about it because I won't worry about it either. " He must think the magic housework fairies come in here at night or something. I'm only 9 1/2 weeks right now and have absolutely no energy. I can't imagine how tired I'll be later on. At least after seeng the dentist yesterday my tooth finally stopped hurting. I need a root canal but she did a temporary medicated filling that is supposed to hold me until the 2nd trimester when I can get a better repair job done. Ciao! Guest guest
What an awful time to have to deal with dental problems. At 9.5 weeks I was probably in the midst of my most pooped out and sick time. I'm willing to bet you'll experience more energy within another 4 weeks or so. I never did get that big " burst " of energy that is supposed to happen, but at least the sickness went away at around 14 weeks and I was able to function without falling asleep. Take care of you and that tooth. Toi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > I'm only 9 1/2 weeks right now and have absolutely no energy. I can't > imagine how tired I'll be later on. Guest guest
Hey! Your husband believes in the housecleaning fairy too? Wow...I stopped believing in the tooth fairy and Santa when I was 7. My husband turns 34 next month...so I'm not going to hold my breath. Good that you took care of the toothache. As for the tiredness, I am still tired (not quite as much thankfully) but it'll get better I promise! in Detroit
Guest guest
I was sooo tired for the first two months of my pregnancy, I hardly did anything but sleep and go to work. I felt guilty until I found out I was pregnant. Boy, was that a surprise since I was on birth control. I learned here (OSSH-pregnant) why my oral low-dose birth control did not work. My husband then felt guilty for being mad at me for not helping out with toddler (3 almost 4 very difficult precious little girl). I have been using that to my advantage ever since! ;-) Seriously though, when I want something done I ask. I make lists for him on the weekends and I nag and bitch to the extent that he now knows to just do what I say and then he won't have to listen to me complain. Its just so much easier on him that way. So to all you ladies out there, persevere and put your foot down. Its just like disciplining my toddler. I just have to be consistent. On another note, I really do have the best hubby who does what I say most likely to make me happy.
