Guest guest
Boy, I feel for the two of you. You sure have no luck at all. I know there is a reason for everything and that if God put's you through it, he will take you through it. But it sure baffles the minds as too why this is still happening. I am sorry for Kristie. Did the fever just pop up or was she sick prior, or what? I will pray for her and keep her in my thoughts. I will also spread the Irish Luck on those prayers, every little bit helps. Guest guest
Sending best and warm thoughts to Kristie. I was speaking to someone who had never been in hospital before recently, who had just gone thru a bout in ICU (intestinal block, out of the blue, no pre-existing condition apparently) ... and was hearing the shock and impact of being in ICU from someone who has never been. People were giving her huge sympathy, same people who were blasé about my trips in. Sadly for most of us we have to often put a year to the situation, i.e. " i was in ICU in 1991 and it was a better experience than the time i was in there in 1997 " kind of thing. Funny to see it thru her eyes, tho, and to remember back to each time. It really made me want to send my support to Kristie ... and to think about something. One of my " complaints " is that, when you live in pain / illness like we all do, one of the things we often don't get is " time off " . There are times when I just feel ill, but since i usually do it seems like i cannot complain, because one gets told " but you are *always* sick " if one ever does. And same goes for hospital trips and emergencies, to me it is worse for " us " because each time builds on the last. I hope Kristie is out quickly, and back in her own home. -- *********************************************************** Kelta Vineyard
