Guest guest
Congratulations on the pregnancy. Make sure you take all your vitamins and be careful working out, do not overdue it. I am 36 weeks and gained 38 pounds, maybe 40 now, but I did NOT make the healthiest food choices in the first half of this pregnancy. I am glad I did not gain more thoug, I gained alot more when I was pregnant with my daughter and hardly anything pregnant with twins but was on a strict diabetic diet so hardly ate much. you should do fine and that little baby will be ssoo worth the weight you do gain. I am soo happy for you.. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I have posted here and there a few questions when I was thinking about getting pregnant. I was 1 year out from RNY in May and I got the go ahead from my Dr. I unfortunatly did not reach my goal weight yet but my loss had all but stopped for several months. I have PCOS and very irregular cycles so I went on Metformin 1500mg and 50mg of clomid last month. I finally ovulated on cycle day 25 and to my surprise just found out the I am newly pregnant. I am very excited but also nervous because I weighed 240lbs the last time I got pregnant. I weigh about 162 now so it should be a totally different experience. I hope I am able to continue going to the gym and working out. I also would like not to gain too much weight during my pregnancy but I will just try to eat sensibly. I look forward to being a more active participant on this list now and getting to know everyone. 271/162/
Guest guest
Welcome & congrats mom! & check with your providers regarding preggo exercise guidelines. Mine advised me not to let my heart rate go above 140 & to try & keep the core temp from elevating.
