I am only 4 weeks pregnant but have this strange pain in my lower...

side. It is mostly on my left side but sometimes on my right side.

It only happens after sitting for a long time and getting up

quickly. It is a sharp pain but goes away quickly. Does anyone know

what this is?

Hello,

A corpus luteum cyst forms on the ovary that secretes the egg and

stays for the first 12 weeks after pregnancy. This can cause sharp

pains - I know it did for me.

If you have any bleeding or if the pain is more than you think it

should be you should definately call your doctor or go to the ER.
