Guest guest
Tenny and I took a trip to the ortho yesturday. His feet are looking good, have good dorsiflexion, so we get to reduce his hours. For me this is exciting, a milestone in this process. Tenny is 10 months now and wanting to wreck havoc on the world. (we need a t-shirt- House Wreckers Inc. Anytime, anyplace, will work for food) (actually I need four of those-will the house still be standing by the time my boys are raised?) There have been days when I thought this day would never come. Looking back now, it is worth it. We kept the shoes on- and it wasn't always perfect we have had a few blisters and stubborn red spots along the way. There were days that I wondered what I was doing wrong. We tried everything, and of course, finally found what works for us. Little by little it does get better. I may be an awful mommy because my baby hasn't always had perfect feet in the shoes, I know I have felt that way too many times to count. It is wonderful to hear about all the babies that are doing so well in the brace. I am so glad they are doing great. I am going to say this and then you can all fuss at me, and I don't even mind. Maybe there is someone else that is having a few problems that doesn't want to admit it, like me, cause that makes them less than a good mommy. Guess what, you are still a good mommy. I have had to fight that one a bit, always a MIL to keep you on your toes. And my Tenny and my Teegan and my Taylen just dumped out a bag of packing peanuts that was saving to stuff a bean bag chair thingy with. Guess that means I need to be a better mommy again. Reading this, it don't sound too positive. Better try again. Hours hours are reduced, it is wonderful, and we are so thankful for all of your help. We're going to have this kid chasing cows before you know it. mom to Tenny 7/15/04 and the other looks like cowboys today.
