Guest guest
I think that is best for you since the other ob can't even call in a prescription in time. My first OB (with Noah ) was like that... could never get a call back.. not telling you bad things... and then totally dimissing you when you call with a legitimate concern (Preterm labor) I should have trusted my gut instinct in the beginning.. but nope.. I didn't. This time I have a great OB.. who had WLS herself a year ago! I would definately report the office to the state board and your insurance company... AND to Medicaid. Guest guest
I posted earlier about my doc's office waiting over 2 weeks to let me know about my bladder infection, and they only told me b/c I called. Once I knew about the infection it too them 3 days to call in the prescription. I also can't get them to measure the baby or anything with an U/S. Then the first visit I had with them, when they did blood work and urine work to make sure I was pregnant, it took them 2 weeks to call me back on that one as well. And then again, not checking my vitamin intake or prescribing me a prenatal. I feel that they are taking the suregry aspects of my pregnancy too lightly. (Maybe it is just b/c I am a first time mom????) But anyway, I called my family doc and he gave me a referral to another OBGYN. He delivers at the same hospital so I don't have to change that. Hopefully it will all work out. My appointment is Tuesday---wish me luck.
Guest guest
Good Luck - I think you made the right choice! Better to switch now than later in your pregnancy or to be miserable with worry the wole time. It is their job to be up on things - that is what they get the big bucks for. People wouldn't accept the same kind of service from a mimimum wadge waitress why should they accept it from a high paid doctor. Keep us updated on your new doc - GOOD LUCK - Diane > I posted earlier about my doc's office waiting over 2 weeks to let me > know about my bladder infection, and they only told me b/c I called. > Once I knew about the infection it too them 3 days to call in the > prescription. It kills me to read all of your horror stories about these jerk doctors, I'm glad your pcp was good enough to get you a referral to a new OB. Good luck again! C.
