Chloral Hydrate and Phenergan

Has anybody had these two things used together on their children to sedate them

for dental procedures? The dentist wants to use this for my kids (both my HFA

and NT child) to extract some teeth. Any advice?

Hiyas Great name (grin...I'm Debbie too).....My son used Chloral

Hydrate for 6 months. They did not use it for dental, the neuro used

it to try and sedate him for sleep...he was 2 at the time (now

3)....it did not work for LENGTH of sleep, but did help him GET to

sleep at first. They took him off because he became adjusted to it

and no longer fell asleep after administer. It' like any drug used,

it has it's nasty little side effects.

We have used chloral hydrate for both dental and EEG, but do now know if

gf/cf.
