Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am a new member and have a question concerning Supernuthera, Cod liver oil and Brain Child Spectrum II supplement. My 3 year old ASD son had been on SNT for about a year. I did not notice a big change in him when starting the supplement but thought I noticed an increase in difficult behavior (contrary behavior, tantrums) when I took him off of it as a trial. He also has hyperactivity, verbal stimming (humming)and sometimes soft BM's (GFCF diet, probiotics and Enzymaide made big improvements but did not completely resolve the BM issue). I decide to try Spectrum II to see if SNT was contributing to these problems. Two weeks after starting the Spectrum II, I started Kirkman's CLO. I have seen noticable improvement in the stimming, speech, BMs and eye contact. I have also noticed an increase in contrary behavior and tantrums however. I don't know if it's due to the change in supplements or just typical 3 year old behavior! Could it be due to the decrease in B6? Has anyone experienced this problem in changing from SNT to Spectrum II or from using CLO? Thanks in advance for any input. P.S. I have learned SOOO much from this group already. My thanks. It could be from not having the SNT (don't you love all the " could be this-could be that " experiments!?). But several people have commented on the list or told me that with CLO & better eye contact, there was a period of difficulty. The child's visual perspective is changing, and that takes some adjustment.
