Guest guest
I had many, many dizzy spells in the first 4 months of pregnancy. I have had a bit of heart palpitations due to my blood sugars being low. My sugars would climb when I ate then crash back down giving me the palpitations. I have to eat small amounts thruout the day to keep it in order. I try to stay with good healthy snacks and not junk but I have had the junk too, just wish I did not go back to old bad habits. Guest guest
I am eight months post-op rny and eight weeks preggo. During the weekend I noticed when I would eat I would start having heart palpatations. If I laid on my right side then it would get worse and if I laid on my left side it would go away. Has anyone come across any symptoms like this before?????? I have had the worst case of dizzy spells this pregnancy. I have had dizzy spells in the other three pregnancy but nothing like this. I am having it on a daily basis and many times all day. So far I havent had any morning sickness and have lost two pounds in the past month. I try eating more but it keeps me so exhausted. All I want to do is sleep when I am off work and on weekends. I am taking all vitamins and b12 shots but I wonder if that is enough. I have to go back to the doctor on Friday and will find out then. Any replys will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and have a jolly day. Tammy rny 10-29-03 (-86#) edd 2-14-
Guest guest
I wonder if this could be similar to reactive hypoglycemia...... I get hot flashes and my heart races and I feel ill almost always after eating and my doctor called it reactive hypoglycemia. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Guest guest
I had heart irregularity twice during pregnancy. I have mitral valve prolapse (and have since age 12) so they sent me to a cardiologist for yet another workup. Everything was fine, but the cardiologist told me to be extremely careful since with these 2 episodes, I was driving and nearly passed out from lack of adequate blood pumping for a couple of minutes. He said that it was most likely preg related causing an exacerbation of my usual normal heart paplitations, but my usual ones dont make me nearly pass out. Probably nothing, but be certain to mention them to your OB tomorrow! Better safe than sorry! Sheila
