Guest guest
We found our grain mill did produce a bit of dust, which was noticed by dh, who has inhalant allergies. We now run the mill outside on the deck. We love it, though, and grind our own brown rice, garbanzo and fava bean, and tapioca flours. Guest guest
>How do you make tapioca flour? I've been wondering where it came from and >if I could make my own. I buy tapioca pearls and run them through the grain mill. It's not quite as fine as the tapioca flour I can buy in the hfs, but it's close enough and works well. If you can't find tapioca peals near you (they should be in the baking section of the supermarket) you can order them through Fundamental Foods at 1-. Guest guest
I wanted to purchase a grain mill, but my MIL informed me it created a giat dust cloud and I would have grain dust covering everything, believe me I dont need to create more house work for myself I cant keep up now. Is this true or can I buy one that does not create a mess? I was looking into buying the attachment for the kitchen aide, unless there is a better one.
