Guest guest
, I would like to say that I am sorry for your loss. I too went into labor early. On 6-18-2004 at 11:44 pm I delivered a baby girl that weighed 1 pound 5 ounces. She was 23 3/7 days into her gestation. For me, what set me in motion to go into labor was a bladder infection. I never knew that bladder infections causes contractions. By the grace of God, I was able to get to the hospital on Thursday night and they worked throughout the night to stop the labor. Early Friday they were confident that they stopped the labor, but by 4:30 she had broken my water and caused a leak. I ended up having a C-section. They told me too that a C-section would be the only way to attempt to save her life. I told them to do whatever they could to save her. She is my little miracle. They were able to get her breathing and stabilize her. My life has been up in a whirlwind ever since. The doctor's missed alot of things in this pregnancy. Today she is 2 weeks and 4 days old and it is an awesome sight to behold. I will never forget the fear, pain and grief I felt all at once in the face of losing her. I hope that you will be able to be strong during this time and that you will be able to conceive at a later date. I lost my last baby in June 2001 so I completely understand your grief. I just pray that you will be healthy in the future so that you may have a chance to try again. Take care of yourself and do what you need to do to bring closure to your loss. Make the phone calls to try and make arrangements for your son. God bless and may He give you strength.
