Guest guest
hey all... i have a question that i was wanting input on... i get so excited when we are at Dr Dobb's office and i can't seem to remember to talk to him about it and i hate to email and bother him... my nephew (now 16) had a foot that turned in when he walked.. like actually sideway but he still walked on the bottom of his foot.. and he would trip over it a lot.. the doctor said not to worry that it would work itself out.. now you barely even notice that there is anything there.. just a little " off centered " ... my brother (his dad) was told to put cowboy boots on the wrong feet because he walked with his feet turned in a little bit too(that was 40 years ago)... then there is grace who has severe BCF... and now my neice (my sister's little girl... 02-11-04) is doing the same thing my nephew did.. but my sister won't ask the doctor.. i think she doesn't want her to have to have any treatment like grace has... but she trips over her foot a lot and it's much worse when she wears shoes.. it turns in sideways when she takes a step.. does anyone else have this problem in their family? and should i really be urging my sister to have abby's foot looked at or leave well enough alone and hope it turns out like my nephews? thanks.. mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobbs' Brace 16/
