Guest guest
Ahhhh, I was disappointed and pleased with my doc's news today. Both emotions because he believes I'll continue on for at least another 3 weeks. Disappointed because I am so ready to hold and smell and love these little ones on the outside and because my body is so ready for this pregnancy to be over. Pleased because my body is holding up so well and I haven't dilated at all which means I'll likely carry our little kiddies well into 6 lbs so they'll be in good shape when they're born. I know the longer they stay put the better off they are. I'm experiencing a lot of pubic pressure. Our little girl has dropped in the past few days which makes it feel as if I have a big ol' bowling ball pushing down between my hips and even makes me very sore on the outside, like I've been riding a horse with a too big saddle horn for too long. Needless to say that with the pressure and soreness, including the pressure on my hips and nerves, I'm having a hard time walking and lifting my legs. Trying to put on a pair of panties in the morning is almost comical. I have a hard time manuevering my left leg bacause both babies heads are lying more to my left, and my right leg goes numb all the time because of the pressure that is being put on my meralgia nerve. At least our time draws near and medically we're all healthy, which is all I ask. The physical symptoms will disappear with time so I can deal with all of that in exchange with getting these little ones here healthy and happy. I go in for another Level II (my last I believe) next Thursday to check their sizes and weights and to make sure the placental flow is still at peak. Hope you are all doing well this week. Guest guest
Dear Toi, Granted I have only one baby in there....but I definately know what you are talking about with the pressure in the pubic area and the whole leg numbing thing. My little darling is doing something to my nerves too cause sometimes my left leg just reflexively kicks out like I am a Rockette Dancer.....its so embarrassing! I'm glad the babies are healthy! Guest guest
Hey Toi. I can relate to the overwhelming impatience to hold bee-bee(s). The consolation, for me, of getting big & huge is that soon it'll be delivery time. So great your babes will be nice & bouncy so you all can bring them home without delay. Yep,I heard discussion about " crotch " discomfort from further along moms, oh the joy & glam-oooor! WlsMomma > Ahhhh, I was disappointed and pleased with my doc's news today.
