Guest guest
Thanks for the post. The doc is already wondering because she didn't have a postictal phase. She went straight from convulsions to awake. Also even during a 20 minute episode, she didn't wet herself. She's also had blackouts during the day 5 times in the last 6 months or so. I'm glad to know it could look like a seizure, but not be one before meds are discussed. Guest guest
Kim People do not always wet themselves during seizures. My son who had the nocturnal seizures did not. He also would wake right up, but was sleepy and wanted to go back to sleep. This is also true of other forms of seizures such as complex partial. My son also had these. laurie > > > > > > > Thanks for the post. The doc is already wondering because she > didn't have a postictal phase. She went straight from convulsions > to awake. Guest guest
Ok, thanks for the info Laurie. Tonight I have to keep her up all night, then take her in for her EEG in the morning. I'm sure that'll tell us if it's seizures or just something that looks like seizures.
