Thanks for the post. The doc is already wondering because she

didn't have a postictal phase. She went straight from convulsions

to awake. Also even during a 20 minute episode, she didn't wet

herself. She's also had blackouts during the day 5 times in the

last 6 months or so. I'm glad to know it could look like a seizure,

but not be one before meds are discussed.

People do not always wet themselves during seizures. My son who had

the nocturnal seizures did not. He also would wake right up, but was

sleepy and wanted to go back to sleep. This is also true of other

forms of seizures such as complex partial. My son also had these.

Ok, thanks for the info Laurie. Tonight I have to keep her up all

night, then take her in for her EEG in the morning. I'm sure

that'll tell us if it's seizures or just something that looks like

seizures.
