Guest guest
Some people do have uncontrollable pain with Mito. I do. I have been on pain meds for years now, but not the one that your doctor prescribed for you. I heard of Tramadol but don't know much about it. Zanaflex is a muscle relaxer. I am wondering if Tizanidine is the generic form of Zanaflex. You might want to check out this website: www.rxlist.com It will give you lots of information on the different drugs, the generic names, drug interactions, etc... Good Luck and i hope the Tramadol helps with your pain. Pain is a hard thing to overcome. Hugs, Ann-Marie Has anyone tried this I have been having a rough time lately, they say the disease is taking another turn. He prescribed pain med for me which is Tramadol. Guest guest
I tried zanaflex before I was diagnosed with mito, it makes you extremely sleepy, dry mouth, and weak but it helps with the stiffness and cramping. I am now taking baclofen and it has been a blessing! --- In , " issnowwhite54 " wr ote: > > I have been having a rough time lately, they say the disease is taking > another turn. Guest guest
Thank you for responding. I too take baclofen. Yes it is a wonder drug for me too. But apparently I need a little more. Guest guest
Irene I take 10mg. with breakfast, lunch and dinner and 20mg at bedtime. I still get some days when cramping is bad, but the cramps are easier to get rid of and I have many days without any at all. There is a maximum that can be safely taken, but I can't remember if it is 60mg or 80mg. laurie > > > > > > > Thank you for responding. I too take baclofen. Yes it > is a wonder drug for me too.
