Guest guest
My cardiologist wants me to have a stress echo since I have shortness of breath, tachycardia etc. I am a little nervous about it as I will have to be on the treadmill and my legs fatigue so easily. I hope I can finish it without problems. Has anyone had this and did you have any problems? Thanks!!!

Guest guest
Irene, If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you have the defibrillator put in for? My regular echo was actually improved from last year's but he wants to make sure the other symptoms I am having is not cardiac related as I have respiratory issues with resp. muscle weakness. Guest guest
Hi , Both My son and daughter have been through treadmill stress tests. With his legs fatigued very quickly and they had to stop. Kira however was able to go long enough for them to see what they needed to see prior to her heart surgery. With they put him in a non weight bearing situation, it was like a treadmill under water and he walked that for them and they got what they needed from that. The conventional one was out for him. Good luck with your test. Guest guest
I went for a stress test, and they noticed the irregular heart beats, checked it out for awhile. Then dicided to put a difib in cause of ventricular tacacardia. --- Bristow lanebristow@...> wrote: > Irene, > If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you > have the defibrillator put in for? Guest guest
, I also had a stress test. But since my muscles and legs fatigue so easily they injected the medication that makes your heart rate increase rather than having me do the treadmill. You might want to talk to your doctor about this option instead. I could no way do the treadmill. Good Luck and let us know how you made out with the test. Hugs, Ann-Marie stress echo My cardiologist wants me to have a stress echo since I have shortness of breath, tachycardia etc. I am a little nervous about it as I will have to be on the treadmill and my legs fatigue so easily. I hope I can finish it without problems. Has anyone had this and did you have any problems? Thanks!!!
Guest guest
I had the stress echo today. I walked about 7 mins on the treadmill. My O2 sat dropped to 92 % but came back up to 97. Hopefully, I will have the results next week. Bristow lanebristow@...> wrote: Thanks! I have the test tomorrow. I will let you know how things go.
