Helle all,

Is anyone using a cane to help with balance and leg fatigue and if so what

is the cane like and does it help alot.

I am thinking of getting a cane or crutch as my legs feel like they are

giving out and when tired my balance is awful. I am on coumadin and dont want a

fall and head injury. my left side is much worse...my thought is getting a

crutch with the arm brace since my arms are also so weak..

any input would be nice

I have forearm crutches, but usually only use one at a time for

balance. I like it because you can lean on the arm piece while it is

bent and use your hands while leaning against something (like paying

for a meal in a restaurant). It gives you the freedom of using your

hand, but with the security of something there and not having it drop.

I don't like the quad cane as I have tripped over one while walking. I

also have a walker with a seat which offers more support and a place

to sit.

Hi, I think a walker is the best. I find it makes me

more steady and I have both arms so I can really lean

on the walker and take a load off my legs.
