Guest guest
Hi all My daughter is undiagnozed SGA with many things common with RSS. Anyway at 15 months she was switched from formula (24 cal/oz) to pediasure 2 weeks ago. She has been eating the same amount but seems to eat the pediasure more eagerly (enteral formula mixed with baby food and cereal). Her average weight gain is approx 0.2 kg (about half pound) per month for the last 6 month. Yesterday we went for appt with endo (same clinic as GI, so same scale) and her weight is up 0.3 kg in 2 weeks! Thats 6 week worth of weight gain in 2 weeks! We were thrilled, never expected pediasure to give such miracle results since her total intake has not really gone up. We had cut her night feedings with NG tube to only 4 hours after starting pediasure, will give a try without any tube feed now. Wanted to share this miracle with pediasure with you. Downside is she is quite constipated now (never was a problem before) so we are giving her more water. Sabina mother of Naomi 16 months today 13 lbs 8 oz. 23.5 inches
Guest guest
Sabina, Have you tried Pediasure With Fiber? That helped when our son got constipated with tube feedings. - Joe > Hi all > My daughter is undiagnozed SGA with many things common with RSS. > Anyway at 15 months she was switched from formula (24 cal/oz) to > pediasure 2 weeks ago.
