Guest guest
Thanks for the info, I will have a ride to the store friday am with a lady from my church and I will look for a copy. I know first hand how hard it is to deal with doctors as my previous neuro insisted I had and kept treating me for Parkinsons from 2001 until the first of this year even though I ended up in ER several times due to the many Parkinsons meds he kept stuffing me until my caring orthopaedic doctor for enough in his 32 years of records on me to dispute the diagnosis and " fire " my previous neuro and " hire " me a new one all during the timeframe of 12/15/04 - 01/05/05 and I was out-of-state at a cousin's home for the holidays trying to fully recover from the sudden and unexplained death of my 48 year old son in August, 2004. If it weren't for Dr. Baker putting his license on the line I could be at death's door as the same situation killed my cousin in late 2004. Good Luck and God Bless, Dolores Ann HFMito@...> wrote:On the newstands now, I am in an article about hospital safety. My story talks about the botched muscle biopsy for mitochondrial myopathy. But I am still pleased with the way my part turned out and honored too. Ann --- Update: I am not doing well per Mito. I am now on oxygen for nighttime use as well as needed in the daytime/round the clock use of morphine & other meds. I think of all of you often. Better go rest. Guest guest
Isn't it amazing how some drs just won't listen...and if the shoe were on the other foot, they would want the same thing we are after:respect. Glad you had a caring dr to step up and defend you I am also appearing in Experience Life Magazine in November 2005-an article on forgiveness and how releasing it can benefit your health. I also state about mito. Originally there were to be 3 or 4 other people in the article with me, but before it went to the press-I was told by the journalist-I was the sole interviewee as the editors were very much impressed with my story. For those that would like info on the article-let me know..This is BENEFICIAL to anyone that has tried to prove stress DOES impact Mito/health. Backed up by a doctor!!!!! We now have EVIDENCE! YES!!!!! Just drop me an email at hfmito@... and I'll be happy to assist you Have a great rest of the week.... Ann On the newstands now, I am in an article about hospital safety. Guest guest
Thanks. Whenever I get a chance to spread awareness for mito, I jump at it. See my previous post about another article in Experience Life. Or you may check out my other website: www.theardentpen.com for information on other articles I will be quoted in. Unfortunately, due to my health I am no longer able to write articles for others..but do my best to write devotionals on mito as well as daily life. Take care and God Bless!
