Guest guest
Kris, You get the cream from a health food store or you can get it online. I get mine through the health food store and the one I buy is called FemGest. It really works. You just want to make sure you get the one that is labeled " natural progesterone cream. " There is a synthetic type made from wild yam root, but it doesn't work the same. I am not a health food store kind of person, but I have to tell you, this stuff is amazing for women with PCOS. It totally helps with your mood swings and everything!! You rub the cream on your thighs, butt, tummy, breasts, palm of your hands, face, neck, and/or inside of your arm. You apply about 1/4 tsp 2 times a day and switch locations occasionally to help it absorb best. Progesterone cannot hurt you, so you can use more or less if you want. I hope that helps and personally, I would start using it ASAP...just in case. Fingers and toes crossed for you:) a

Low progesterone? then you need to start progesterone ASAP. My OB told me that if that was my prob, he would start me on progesterone supplementation as soon as I got the positive preg test. Another OB told me I needed to be started on progeterone SOONER than the positive preg test, so who knows? Ask some questions and ask if you should be on progesterone if that may have been the cause of your prev mc/s Sheila Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
Guest guest
No you are not in trouble of losing the baby...when you do your blood preg test at the dr...they will probably run your blood for proges...just mention it to your dr beforer just to make sure they wilkl check that...then if it is too low he will start you on progesterone...brandie was on prometrum 200mf...little yellow gel caps...she took them vaginally because they absorb better that way.,..mention that also...hope this helps! Well, nothing could have stopped the last one from happening, it was a blighted ovum. As for the other, my first one, they said that it was probably because of my weight. No one did any tests on me then, I wasn't able to take the results of the miscarriage to the dr, because I was living in Seattle, and miscarried in Washington D.C. Can they test for low progestorin now?? or is it too late, and if that my problem, am I in really big trouble in keeping this baby?
