Guest guest
Hi Judi, didn't drool at all. He got a bunch of teeth all at once, too. He just kind of wanted to bite or knaw on somethings. He really didn't even do that too much, because most of the time it made him gag, but he attempted. I don't really think that it is RSS related, but it could be that our kids do seem to be somewhat 'dry' kids, as we have been talking about how most of them have needed extra water to keep them hydrated. Thats may be why there is no drool to speak of?? Just a thought, Jodi R. 's momma
Guest guest
Not really, my Colby is 12.5 and he still drools at night when he sleeps. Drives him nuts!! Guest guest
Judi, My son , 2 3/4 yrs. RSS, barely drooled compared to my older son . Of course drank alot of fluids whereas 's intake was dramatically less. I always thought the difference in drool was related to their fluid intake, including fluids from foods. Never thought of it as an RSS-specific trait, just a matter of consumption or hydration. To drool or not to drool? I know that most parents' kids on this site are beyond teething, but I was wondering if you guys can remember back to when your kids were in the teething stages(7-12 months). Did they drool at all? I ask this because my son lived in bibs for 6 months while barely has a bubble of spit in her mouth. I know she is teething because her top tooth is breaking through. RSS related or my crazy mind reaching AGAIN? Judi
Guest guest
Hi Judi, My non RSS child drooled forever and my RSS child hardly drooled at all. I think it just depends on the child. Guest guest
I have to say that Alyssa has NEVER been a drooler. It is one of my favorite parts about her!! (ha ha!). I always wondered if it was related to RSS. Dayna, Mom to Alyssa, 2 still teething and still no drool
Guest guest
Hi to all, I have to pop up here, and cast my vote. has NEVER been a drooler either. So I went out and bought all these cute bibs that DON'T have rubber backing. They stop food, but wouldn't have worked with drool. Well, now I have to go out and buy all new bibs because his OT is having us teach him how to drink out of a regular cup! So it goes! Guest guest
I have no idea if it is RSS related but my guy is still in the teething stage and no drool. Our only sign he was teething his front teeth was that he was extremly cranky. > > > Date: 2004/01/19 Mon PM 01:38:18 EST > To: RSS-Support > Subject: To drool or not to drool? > > Mommy to Keigan 4-15-03 (RSS) and Tristian 9-26-
Guest guest
Pippin has never drooled. She just chews on her finger, that's how we know she's cutting another tooth. Tully drooled all day and night! So funny--I thought it was just MY crazy mind working overtime too!
