Guest guest
I read all the posts here with interest and have for a long time. I have learned a lot about adult onset mitchondria disorders. I do not exactly fit the pattern, but my symptoms are smiiliar to some of you, so I will keep on reading all that you post. I also have dysautonomia and postural orthostatic taccycardia. I believe there is at least one other member here who also has that. Back in June my husband was diagnosed with esophogeal cancer stage 4, which all the doctors have told us is terminal. I posted here and asked members to pray for him. Thank you to all who prayed. Jeff has had 3 rounds of chemo since then and today we got the results of the CT scan done last week. His original tumor which was in the esophogus and stomach is no longer visible and the metatsis to his liver are reduced by at least half. While I know the chemo is having an effect, it doesn't always work for esophogeal cancer. I credit all the prayer that so many have been offering on his behalf. Thank you so much to anyone who has been praying for him. It has been a difficult road, with my being chronically ill and he is my caregiver. I don't do well outside or in the car or even standing at the grocery. He does all that for me. So going to all these doctor appointments and caring for him through chemo has been tough. But I have been able to cope and I think that is because everyone's prayers have given me strength. Now Jeff's cancer is on the run. Please continue to pray for him andhelp us run it right out of town! Michigan Jan

Guest guest
Hi Jan and Jeff, It is so nice to hear some good news!!! I am so happy that Jeff's cancer is on the RUN and that his original tumor is no longer visible and that metatsis to his liver is reduced by almost half.!!! This is fantastic news!!! I am happy to know that you had the strength to go to the doctors appointments with Jeff and care for him through his chemo. That strength you had came from many prayers of hope and love for both of you. Being chronically ill and having to step up to the plate and be the caregiver is a hard thing to do and a major change that our bodies don't always react to in a positive way. I am pleased that you were able to care for Jeff. Keeping you and Jeff in my thoughts and in my prayers. Praying for continued strength for the both of you and for continued success in beating this nasty cancer. Let's Keep Jeff's Cancer on the RUN!!!
