Ivy,

I will be 26 weeks on Monday and have gained 15 lbs thus far. I haven't always

made the best food choices but like you said I am healthy and my baby is

healthy. I feel that whatever weight I gain can't be anything like the weight I

gained with my daughter 10 years ago which caused the weight problem that

brought me to where I have been and who I am today. I would gain any amount of

weight to be where I am today, pregnant with my second child after 10 long years

of PCOS and having my little girl ask me why everyone else has a brother or

sister and she doesn't. I am proud of who I am and where I am today. My advice

to you is to enjoy your pregnancy and make the best choices for you and after

your little bundle of joy is here then worry about your weight. Best wishes to

you.

, you sound like me. When my son was born on 12/27/99, my dd turned 10

on 1/8/2000. She was thrilled at first when I told her I was pregnant but the

next day she came to me with tears in her eyes and said " mom, I'm not going to

be an only child any more! " Monetary thoughts set in!!! haha.

Good luck.
