I am surprised that he did not send you for your first set of blood works and

do a pap smear. he also should of put you on some prenatals and told you to

go buy folic acid and take 800 mcg a day. I don't know why he is slacking but

you need at least that much. Other than that it's pretty much done except the

checkups and blood and urine tests they do at certain months. If you have a

better selection of doctors around I would probably check into it.

my gyno didn't mention anything special either but did the normal tests. I had

gestational diabetis with my dd and after the surgery, with my other 2, I didn't

have it. the only problem I had with my pregnancy right after surgery was the

doctors telling me I had to gain weight; yeah right.

Hello!!!

Just found out i was pregnant 10 weeks. I had roun-y on 12/16/02.

I'm down to 155 from 256. Doing great i recon. I was just

wondering about the doctor i went to. I figured i would have to

take more vitamins or something, but he didn't say anything about

needing anything extra, he really didn't mention anything about the

surgery messing up anything either. I had a lot of problems with my

other child, I had gest. diabetes, high blood pressure, toxima and

works and he didn't even do one test on me. Is this a normal thing?

Or should i be looking for another doc? Thanks for any help.
