Hi everyone-

We are now in the waiting stage for Hurricane Katrina in West Central

Alabama. The hurricane is supposed to hit Columbus dead-on, so we are

really glad i grabbed all our home movies, and most of our pictures,

's handprint. We are safe in here and my husband is staying in

Starkville. I spoke with him 2 hours ago he said weather was starting

to get rough. We are still a few hours away from the brunt of the

storm, but have had 16+ tornado warnings I think around the state so

far. We just missed one tornado this afternoon by a few miles.

So anyway I just wanted to let everyone know we are OK.

My cousin near Mobile, AL said that Gulfport, MS has no power lines

at all, they've all been pulled up and washed away. Mobile is flood

with 10+ feet of water. We have not heard whether my another cousin

has his house standing in Gautier, MS.
