My son bit a lot for no apparent reason when he was three years old (got

him kicked out of his preschool). We finally came to the conclusion that

it was a oral/tactile problem. I can't give you any ideas for a " magic

bullet " but ended up attaching a hard teething toy (ours was in the

shape of a pretzel) to his shirt using one of those clip on pacifier

holders and just kept telling him to bite that, not people, when he

needed to bite. Eventually it sunk in, and after a while we were able to

remove the teether.
