OT-Kori's awful birth experiences...hehehe

Kori,

I'm so sorry your birth experiences didn't go the way you planned. I

can totally hear your frustration. And I'm right there with you on

the " wanna-be midwife " thing! I can not imagine being at 10 cm for 9

hrs. That is crazy! With my first I sat at 4 cm for 6 hours (double

peaking, 1 min in between, you know, the whole 9 yards) and at the

end of those 6 hrs I said ENOUGH!! Had a shot of morphine, slept an

hour and woke up pushing. But I was so scared to have that happen

again with my 2nd I delayed getting to hospital! It was an hour

away, and by the time we left my cont were 1 1/2-2 mins. apart,

lasting 45 secs. I thought they weren't long enough-HA! 8 cm when we

got to the hosp!

Anyway, like I said, I've got no answers for you (who does?), but

you have my support & compassion!
