Guest guest
We've not had this problem, however, our philosophy is one of try it; it won't cause any harm and we would hate to sit back and do nothing and watch our child do no better, or worse, regress and be constantly second-guessing ourselves saying " What if... " . Since we adopted this policy and embarked on the diet, we've become sold on it to the point where we would not allow some one to come into contact with our child if we felt that they were undermining our efforts. That is the bottom line. We need to tell people (and mean it) that they need to get used to this diet or get used to not seeing us or our children. Guest guest
I have one thought on this one... for unsupportive family members (I am from a very large family) and for school district folks I explain the diet simply " We just got tests results back in MONTH, Jeff is HOSPITAL 9-1-1 allergic to these foods. If you feed him these foods you need to start driving to the hospital. " This seems to work just peachy. I know it is a lie but I would rather they not stuff my child with anything.
