Here is a message I got from Katy.

Friends, family:

....Sorry for the bait and switch. I figured I might avoid immediate

email deletion by tempting you with an exciting synopsis and analysis

of Bush's speech tonight! For now, wanted to give you a brief

update...

In a nutshell:

-- My last surgery showed negative lymph nodes (that is good

news)..I'm feeling fine. Doing some strange looking post-surgery

wall-climbing exercises (picture Sylvestor Stallone hugging the

mountain face in his " -winning " Cliffhanger performance and you

get the idea..).

-- I'll be getting chemo every other Wednesday for the next 16

weeks. Kickoff is tomorrow. I'm under the care of a Sloan-Kettering

oncologist, but may switch to a local doc. For now, I'm " commuting "

to NY with the " Bonfire of the Vanities " crowd. If I hear any good

stock tips I'll pass them on (eavesdropping on investment bankers

while they down brews at the ferry bar is becoming a favorite

pastime).

I'm so appreciative of your support. Hope you are all staying warm

and that you and your families are having a great start to the new

year.
