Guest guest
Congrats Tina. What a wonderful surprise to see straight tootsies...that is amazing. I know you're so glad Logan is here. Bedrest is horrible. Cheers to you for already mentioning trying for a little girl. You're a brave woman. I have 3 boys as well and it is wonderful. Would have been nice having a little girl to even it up a little bit but I wasn't that brave. I would've had another boy for sure. Guest guest
Tina, Congratulations on the safe arrival of Logan - I love that name! That must have been a pleasant surprise for him to have straight feet! Whoohoo! Good luck with your endeavours for #4. In our case it worked out - after 3 girls, Owen arrived. I fully expected another girl (I just wanted even numbers) and was quite shocked when they told me that he was a boy. LOL! Guest guest
Congrats on the new one. Always so good to have them here. If you figure out where little girls come from, let us know. We lost that info after number one. One girl and four boys later.... We like little boys, even the tiny ones. Re: Logan is here and no clubfoot!! Congrats Tina. Guest guest
That is great news! Congratulations Logan is here and no clubfoot!! I have not posted in quite a while...was on bedrest for the last 2 months of my pregnancy...but for those of you who remember me I wanted to post an update. My son Ethan was born March 6, 2004 with bilateral clubfoot and was successfully treated using the Ponseti method. When I got pregnant again when Ethan was 5 months old we were afraid that the new baby would have clubfoot also so we had many ultrasounds that showed that he did have clubfoot. Not really a big deal though since we had been through it before. Logan was born on May 11, 2005 and to our surprise his feet were straight!! The Doctor said that it must have been positional and corrected itself before he was born. He was pretty tiny though...5 lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Just wanted to thank you all for your support through both Ethan's treatment and Logan's (false) diagnosis. You are a great resource and I am so glad that I found this site!! Guest guest
, you and my husband share the same opinion! He doesn't want to try again because he is sure it would be another boy! I wouldn't mind having another boy but I really really want a daughter. I see how badly my MIL wants to bond with my SIL and me (and we don't like her!) and I worry that I will never have that mother-daughter relationship that I have with my Mom. I would hope that when my boys grow up I would be able to bond with their wives but I am not entirely sure that it would be the same. Hopefully I can talk Ray into it and we will try for a girl in a year or so!! > > I have not posted in quite a while...was on bedrest for the last 2 > > months of my pregnancy...but for those of you who remember me I > wanted > > to post an update. > > > > My son Ethan was born March 6, 2004 with bilateral clubfoot and was > > successfully treated using the Ponseti method. Guest guest
Daiga, it was a complete surprise for Logan to have straight feet...we had multiple U/S that said he had clubfoot! He came out and a few minutes later I was like. " Hey, his feet are straight! " I actually cried...I wasn't upset that we were told he had clubfoot since we have been through it already but it certainly was a relief!! Guest guest
LOL!! My oldest son Dylan is always telling me that I am the Princess because I am the only girl!! My SIL took him shopping for my birthday last year and they bought me fuzzy pink seat covers for my Durango that have crowns on them and they say Princess. Lucky for me though, I am not exempt from playing Power Rangers and digging in the dirt!! > Welcome baby Logan with perfect feet! Congrats Tina.
