Guest guest
Kori, I kinda did freak!! Having had two boys already, we did not buy anything for Logan except his own outfit to come home in. I had gone through all the clothes and got rid of all the stuff that wasn't " clubfoot clothing " . Fortunately, I gave them to my SIL for her yard sale and he was born before the yard sale so I got all my footy jammies back!! Guest guest
You are right Sharon, I was crying with joy!! It is nice to be able to give him a bath, not worry about finding pajamas to fit over the casts, etc. I also like having that special time with Ethan after his bath when we put on his ni-night shoes and sing his shoe song. That is our time together and I wouldn't want him to have to share that! Kinda silly I guess, but that is how I feel about it! > That is great news! Guest guest
I worry about the bonding thing as well. You know the old saying " A daughter is a daughter for life. A son is a son until he takes a wife. " Although, seeing the relationship my son has with his mother makes me feel better. I think it all depends on what type of mother you are. However, I think there is more pressure on us to bond with the significant other when it is a female. I'm glad somebody else worries about those things besides me. My oldest son is officially a Senior and I already feel pressure to bond with his girlfriends....That's crazy..... mom of Kolby 11-19-03 bcf Dobb's brace 14/7 Brice 6/22/01 Adam 6/7/88 > > > I have not posted in quite a while...was on bedrest for the last 2 > > > months of my pregnancy...but for those of you who remember me I > > wanted > > > to post an update. > > > > > > My son Ethan was born March 6, 2004 with bilateral clubfoot and was > > > successfully treated using the Ponseti method.
