Guest guest
Hi all, just wanna lets ya's know im hanging in there. The chemo is kicking my butt, but i still have a positive attitude, started to lose my hair after 1st round of chemo, and im able to produce white blood cells on my own, which is a very good thing, my iron is a bit low, my platelets came back up to normal range also. One big good news is i can breath again on my right side, oncologist cant believe how well, so he sent me for a x-ray this past tuesday and he let me skip my next round of chemo this week. I will see him again next Tuesday, and will see if a tumor broncial tube shrunk, (which at this point would be the only explanation of why im breathing so well again). we will decide then if i should do a lower dose of chemo starting tuesday or if there has been shrinkage i will be able to wait for more treatment untill we get back from vacation. I believe those Dragonflies and prayers are doing the job, Thanks to you all!! We are keeping mito doc informed of all symptoms, but as they say the chemo would affect another mito patient most probably a different way than it affects me, just like mito affects us all differently. Well, im heading back to bed, just wanted to keep ya's updated and Thank you all once again!, Hugs Barb
