I'm having the same middle strap problem and anticipate I'll be finding a saddle

shop to repair it before he out grows them. On our first pair, the buckle had

*rollers* that allowed the straps to pull through easier, but this pair does not

have that type of buckle, so the flat buckle just rubs and wears the leather

down to nothing, and of course you have to pull that particular strap so much

tighter....
