Guest guest
I am glad this visit went much better. It was nice of him to apologize. I bet your baby is bigger than that tech thinks plus he will gain a half to a pound a week unti he is born so he won't be that small, not as big as your first but he will be fine and oh so cute my twins were 3#10 and 4#10 and were 16 1/2 and 17 1/2 inches long and they were ssoo tiny and cute but they were 33 weekers. Guest guest
Great to hear you had a better appt this time. & that the temporary doc redeemed himself. Your post got me to thinkin': is there anything that we can do to plump up babies, like protein shakes or something? WlsMomma > Hi All, > > > I also had my NST and the babies heartbeat was 150 and he was moving all over the place. > > The doctor that's covering for my doctor was very nice to me and apologized for his behavior last visit. So that was nice. He said unless baby or I have health problems they are just going to let me go so that I have a more successful chance at VBAC.....but if I change my mind I can have a c-section at 39 weeks. > > I really don't know what I am going to do with this small baby. I am so tired. We just got home from taking to the kidsfest fair and he and daddy rode a bunch of rides....I played some games and ate a few bites of cotton candy. Guest guest
Chrystal, If you remember Hannah was this tiny when she was born and to this day (she turned 12 weeks this last Wed) she still drowns in her 0-3 months clothes but is getting just a bit too tall for the preemie stuff. I would suggest getting a couple of preemie outfits so you have something that fits him just in case. Glenn and I have had to go shopping a couple of times to get clothes to fit Hannah properly. As far as the full bladder/stomach I remember when I was having my weekly u/s with Hannah that the tech commented once that Hannah had a full bladder. When I asked if that meant anything she just said that she needed to go pee, LOL! Not sure what the tech meant about your little guy having a full stomach but if I were you I would make sure they know just in case he has his first bowel movement before he is born. I remember my husband telling me that Hannah had her first bowel movement 15 minutes after she was born. I have not a clue if this is normal or not but I think it was kinda quick. Plus I never had to change a mercomium type bowel movement from her at all, her second bowel movement seemed very normal to me. Hang in there sweetie, its almost over for ya!!! Axelrod Update from the doctors Hi All, I had a great trip to the doctors today. I had my baby growth ultrasound and was not at all surprised to hear that the baby is between 5.5 and 6 pounds. The tech thinks the baby is 16-17 inches long. My amniotic fluid levels are good although decreasing which is normal. The US technician said that the baby had a full stomach and full bladder...I don't know if that means anything as to when I will deliver. I also had my NST and the babies heartbeat was 150 and he was moving all over the place. It's kind of scary. was 9 pounds and 1 ounce and 23 inches long.....so I guess this baby will actually be using the 0-3 month clothes!! I got a ton of US pictures and I will put them online in the morning. I am so tired. We just got home from taking to the kidsfest fair and he and daddy rode a bunch of rides....I played some games and ate a few bites of cotton candy. Not my greatest idea. I'm hoping to go into labor really soon.....I am so tired and these super hot cramps, contractions and leg pains are making me a tad ( big understatement ) grumpy!
