Guest guest
I do not write often, those that rember in the beginning of my pregnancy I had asked about blood clots since I had them after surgery. I am now 36 weeks and 2 days. They say with a girl because of the 4 lines on ultrasound but I would still swear a boy. Saw my ob friday he said that if I decided to have baby next friday he was on call for labor and delivery. Well saturday I started having really bad back pain and pelvic pressure. 4th baby, 5th pregnancy. Well I was trying to clean out my van, vacumm and wash it before baby is born next month. Pain became bad. Went to Labor and delivery. Yep contractions 5 to 7 minutes apart. Dialated to 2 and 50% effaced and baby -3.THey talked to my doctor was on call and he said for me to walk around 2 hours and if I changed admit me. Well no change went home at 6pm. Pain all night and this morning. decided to drive to local hospital 10 miles no labor and delivery. Mind you still had pains but ended up with hemmorrids. Wanted to have them taken care of. Misearable pain. ER doc told me the only way to get rid of was to have baby. Well mind you in 24 hours I only dilated another 1/2 so I am 2and a half now. Says it can still be weeks away. Who wants this that long. Last ob I had lanced them. Why would he tell me nothing can be done? I am going to call my regular doctor in morning and see what he says. Anyone have this kind of problem? Sorry so long 7-16-04 #4 baby

I must not fit into the category of " once you deliver, your hemorrhoids go away " because even now @ 20 months AFTER delivery, I still have to " replace " my hemorrhoids manually after EVERY bowel movement. Not such a pleasant thing to discuss, but since you mentioned this, I thought I would share. The reason I hesitate getting them " fixed " is my Dad said it was the most painful surgery that he has EVER had in 65 years of living! Best wishes for pain relief soon!
