Guest guest
Hi , We give the periactin and the prilosec at the same time and then feed 45 minutes to 1 hour later. We then do the second periactin 1 hour before dinner and his zantac before bed. Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 4 year old twins
Guest guest
Is Prilosec in the same family as Zantac or the same family as Prevacid... Dr. Harbison has us giving her Periactin and Prevacid at the SAME TIME in the morning (not mixed together, but same time). Then before dinner, she gets the Zantac and Periactin, which we mix together and add a bit of grape juice. Is there a reason you are doing 4 different med times a day? It might be much easier to do the Periactin and Prilosec at the same time. Was there a reason the doctor said to do the second dose of Prilosec at bedtime instead of dinner? > Colin wakes at 7:30ish and we give him his Periactin. Guest guest
Thanks, . We try and time the meds with his bolus feeds so we aren't hooking him up more times a day than necessary. He does take the Periacin by mouth. I am going to try giving the Prilosec first thing in the morning with Periactin and see if that makes a difference with eating breakfast. > > Colin wakes at 7:30ish and we give him his Periactin.
