Guest guest
Hi there, Yes, my baby, also a boy, started moving down around 34 weeks too, I had to stop working (busy busy hairstylist) at 36 weeks due to a raise in my blood pressure when standing and ALOT of cramping but now , after resting for 2 weeks I am just past 38 weeks and going in to be induced on Thursday night due to my blood pressure going up and down somewhat erratically and the doc says he will be fine to be born 10 days before our original due date. Good Luck with your new son!! He'll be here soon!! Tracey
Guest guest
Demrie, If this is your first baby, it is not uncommon for the first baby to drop early in preparation for childbirth. Cramping could be a sign that you were doing too much but it could also be because the baby has dropped. With my first one, I had to stop going for walks for exercise after 6 months because of the pressure I would get and cramping. If you get cramping again, get off your feet and rest. Talk to your doctor at your next appointment about it and call if it is too bad or doesn't go away when you rest.
