Guest guest
We are very experienced with this one. I would start off with Benefiber, 3 times a day, about 1/2 tsp. If that doesn't do the trick, then add Milk of Magnesia at bedtime, about 4cc. When all that doesn't work for us, and n is screaming in pain every day, I resort to an anema once a day. Good luck! Guest guest
Salem is the expert on this subject. For Max, we have used Senekot and some white liquid that begins with a K, I think. But at the age of 3, I would check with the doctor before you use anything. I am amazed at how many of our kids have this problem. I guess it all relates to that gut dysmotility. Jodi Z. Guest guest
You are too funny! I have never had to use this, but a friend of mine has a daughter with this problem (non RSS). Her doctor suggested prune juice with 7 up. Tastes like pop. With that said, I know how hard it is to get more food into our kids. But just a suggestion. Beth > Houston, we have a problem. Guest guest
Our son Jonah was terribly constipated until we started Miralax and now no longer has the problem. He takes it everyday. I hope he will outgrow it so he does not have to stay on this forever, but for now it has been like a miracle. Jonah, RSS years 5 months Question About Constipation > Houston, we have a problem.
