Guest guest
I was 5.5 months out from RNY when I got pregnant and everyone says this is going to be a healthy baby. I am high risk though because of previous miscarriages, PCOS, I'm 37 years old and past health issues. When they did my quad screen it showed the chances of haveing birth defects lower than a 20 year old. The only concern my WLS surgon had was the fact my weight loss would be hindered - They want the loss to stop and some gain by the end. Yeah I was a little disappointed that it happen so soon so I never saw goal but I am assured that I can continue to loose after giving birth wit effort.I would consider seeing a different doctor if I were you. A obgyn that sees high risk patients would be a good chioce so they can monitor you more closely. Good Luck and keep us posted as things progress. - Diane
