Guest guest
(this was orginally posted on Wednesday, but didn't see it come through, so just copied and pasted again) I didn't want to see anything other than my bed yesterday. The 5 days of stress hit me all at once yesterday afternoon, and I got Jake watching Brother Bear, and hid my face in a pillow and cried for about 3 hours. After I got Jake to bed, I took a Xanax and slept for about 12 hours. I did wake up at one point last night, and EVERY joint in my body hurt, I don't know what what causing it, but I cried then from the pain. We got a call just as we were walking out the door to go to the hospital this morning. The doctor had come in early and had order RJ to have his meds early and as soon as they were done, RJ could be released. We got up there around 10, but still waited around until 12:30 before he got his meds and we got out of there... had to stop by walmart (Jake needed socks and underware.... how do boys go through them so quick?!?), then stop by CVS to pick up some meds, then we got home around 3:30. I am VERY happy to be home, and I think RJ is also.... all he does it keep looking around and smiling! Here is some " porkish " news... my 5lb 9 oz newborn has now turned into a 12 lb 4oz 2.5 month old!!! He is taking 3-6 ounces every 3-4 hours. I called his ped to see if I could start adding cereal and was informed that for RJ age, he should be taking 5-8oz every 3 hours, so I guess we are right on track. Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I am off to grab my baby and snuggle into bed to watch a movie and snooze. Niki
