Guest guest
I know that there are a lot of grandparents who work very hard for their children and grandchildren. I think maybe more do not because they just do not understand what is going on and/or are in denial. After all, grandchildren are suppose to be those children that you over feed and then send home to mommy at the end of the day. Not children with special problems. Grandparents have their grieving and denial process also. Some never get over it. Evan has his other grandparents who have more or less ignored him and his brother since their parents' divorce. Our daughter gave them 'damaged' grandchildren and boys on top of that. Their new dil gave them the granddaughter that they wanted and she has no problems that they have noticed so far. Betty Re:Recovering (for Betty) I was reading your post. I certainly wish more Grandma's would take part in their grandchildren's lives, the way you have apparently have. I realize you must have your hand full. I admire you for your courage and love. Keep us posted on how Evan is doing on the diet.
