Guest guest
Hi, We recently learned that our baby, due in July, has a unilateral clubfoot. I am relieved to know that it is most likely correctable with Dr. Ponseti's method. I know that I am getting way ahead of myself, but I am already thinking ahead to when the baby will be here and these are just a few of the concerns that keep me up at night. How difficult is it to diaper a baby with the cast on to the hip? Is it common for any mess to end up down the cast and do you have any tips on how to avoid this? From reading some other messages, it doesn't seem like a carseat will be a problem, but what do you all use for a highchair/bouncy seat that works with the brace? Should we just plan on not using those until the baby is only wearing the brace at night? Is it possible to remove just the bar to put the baby in and out of something like a johnny jumper? It seems like taking the whole thing off and on takes quite a bit of work. Thanks for any tips/advice due July
