Thanks Laurie,

I've tried the ginger (I remember you mentioning your success with

it) but for some reason I find it tastes just awful. Gingerale is

ok, but ginger straight - wow. It's pretty strong stuff.

Maggie

I use crystallized ginger chips. It is ginger root that has been

cooked in sugar water. I use the ginger chips from Gingerpeople.com

It is still strong, but more like candy. Altoid (the strong mints sold

in the stores) makes a ginger one as well, but it is even stronger.

I wonder if ginger cookies would help - some brands (trader joe's I

think is one) have real ginger in them and have helped my stomach.
