Trich is a compulsive disorder and can develop into other compulsions

or slowly come under control. Most people go through their lives with

it and just learn to control it. Some doctors will prescribe a med to

help control it even in children and you can sometimes find support

groups that include children also. i am a teacher and have had a few

students with the disorder as well as a coworker. Though the school

nurse didn't really know how to deal with it my co worker who

understands the disorder recognised it and helped lead the family to

a childerns support group in the area and a doctor to help as well as

mant web sites explaining the disorder. How old is your daughter?

the older she gets the more sensitive she will be about it. - Diane

My daughter's almost ten. I've done quite a bit of reading about it so far,

on websites and in a book by Fred Penzel that I bought on Amazon. I'm glad

to know that someone else knows what in the world that is!
