My son has had loose stools for over a week. I honestly do not

believe he has cheated on his diet. I have gone over everything he

has eaten and can find nothing new. I have taken away fruits and

fruit juices except for bananas. Bananas are supposed to be good for

diarrhea. The cutting out of fruit seems to have helped the

bedwetting, but the poor guy has so little he can eat now. He is

losing weight, and I just don't know what could be causing the loose

stools. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Connie

Thanks for your reply. I don't think he has gotten any gluten

anywhere, but as he is 8 years old and has a mind of his own, it is

hard to be totally sure. I have explained over and over about the

diet and the many sources of gluten and casein. He has a pretty good

understanding of it all, but he is still a kid. I have put flax seed

in some of his muffins but not so much since he has had the loose

stools. He is being treated for yeast and has been since last

summer. I recently realized that the liquid Nystatin was not gfcf so

switched to the tablets. They are ok aren't they? That is the one

thing he is taking now that I am not real sure about.
