So Much for Well Laid Plans

Our insurance company finally approved GH and we were scheduled to

have a nurse come to our home tomorrow to give us training and do the

first shot. Today our contact at Pfizer (the pharmaceutical company

who got our insurance company to approve the GH)called and said the

nurse who was supposed to come out tomorrow would not be able to make

it and they didn't know when she would be available again.

This all happened late on Friday afternoon so I need to call them

Monday and find out what happened and where we need to go from here.

We were all geered up with Abby and thought we had finely timed

everything with the information we were giving her, but it didn't go

as planned. We hadn't shared much with Abby about it until now

because we wanted to wait until the insurance company approved it so

this may actually give her more time to absorb it. In any case,

we'll go forward and hope for the best.
