Guest guest
Sabina - Since Periactin is only a 6-hour or so med, it doesn't make sense that she would still be affected 14+ hours later in the morning. However, as well agree, Periactin does seem to increase reflux in some kids (like my daughter). You said that your daughter is on reflux medication, though? What I am more concerned about is the dosage amount. 1 to 3 cc 3 times a day is WAY too vague...and way too much of a variance. Can you read the bottle and tell me whether it is 1mg/5ml or 2mg/5ml. Write me back at magicrss@ mindspring.com ASAP, as I leave for Hawaii tomorrow. I will calculate out her dosage amount, the MINIMUM dosage amount, and email you back right away. > I know periactin has been discussed many times and have read many of > the old posts on periactin. yesterday I got our ped to prescribe my > daughter Naomi periactin she wrote 1 to 3 cc 3 times a day before > meals (2mg/5ml).
