I stay home too so the social thing isn't because we don't see each

other. They do go to kindergarten 1/2 day. I would love to

homeschool but seriously don't think I have the discipline or

patience to deal with my little smartaleck son all day long. I love

him to pieces, trust me but if I hear " I don't have to " or " Mommy

hates me " any more in 24 hiurs I am simply going to lose it.

Homeschool moms get the saint award in my book!

Anyway, that was OT. I am trying to find things for to do

while I cook. I don't mind her being in the kitchen with me but the

constant whining is what gets me flustered. She loves to color and

do stickers on paper but can't manage the stickers on her own yet

and still eats the crayons if I'm not watching. You won't believe

this but it was SOOOO much eaiser with the twins at this age. I

guess they helped entertain each other but dinnertime was never as

stressful. They would color, do playdough, etc and I just had to

monitor but not sit with them the ENTIRE time. 's just a

different little girl...as she should be :)

I stay at home too. I call making dinner the " Witching hour " lol both

of my girls are very demanding at that time. During nap time I try to

pre-prep most of dinner so I just have to turn on the oven or burner

to finish it up. My husband works long hours especially this time of

year but when he is home it's wonderful.
