I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap in a spray bottle with water.. It kills

them within a couple mins of spraying it directly on them, and seems to keep

repelling them away for a very long time. I also use it on house flies..

Doesn't work too well to repel them, but I use the 'stream' option on my

squirt bottle to make a strong stream.. I sneak up on them (laugh if you

want, the mental picture of me hunting down houseflies is funny) and give one

or two direct hits with the soap/water mixture.. Kills them within a minute

if you get a good shot. :)

Hope this helps..

You could go try gardensalive.com. They have a lot of safe ways to take

care of bug problems among other things. Their website has an online

catalog. I haven't tried their products yet, but I am planning to.

Hi - I know this sounds bizarre but I heard yesterday about a man that puts

butter on a cardboard and they all gather there and then he throws it out!

????

My sister always used coffee grounds along the outside perimeter of her house

and another friend used borax in the same way with great success.

Good luck!

A good way to kill flies is to wait until night. Turn off all the lights except

for the tv. They

will flock to the tv and are an easy target then!

I get the " ant sticks " and place them around my house. I hide them behind

bushes and in places where my son or animals cannot get to them. These

stick around the perimeter of my house have kept us ant free for years. I

get the ant sticks at Home Depot.

Cheers!
