Guest guest
Congrats on the birth of your daughter! Axelrod Birth announcement! Hi. I'm not on very much but i wanted to announce the birth of my daughter to you guys! We had a 2 vessel umbilical cord, morning sickness 24 hours - the whole time, and i was 1 yr post op at conception.... Despite all the worries the only thing that happened was our baby was diagnosed IUGR - intrauterine growth retardation... in the end we thought she had shrunk in utero... boy was the sonogram wrong! we delivered a healthy girl 5lbs 10 oz at 38 weeks via emergency induction. I had a heck of a time eating, and normally wouldn't get over 1800 calories, if i got 1200 i was lucky. in the end the had me drinking scandishake (http://store.axcanscandipharm.com/products/scandishake.html) which is a not bad shake you mix with whole milk, they give this to children with cp and stuff to get then to gain weight.... I also had to eat protien first, then veggies, then liquids. we saw 2 nutritionists, one told me not to drink water and eat more sweets... yeah she'd never dealt with a gastric bypass patient! well I just wanted to say good luck to you guys and hope every knows that pregnancy after a rny bypass can be stressful but with vitamins and protein it can turn out great! if you have any questions please email me siotha@... Guest guest
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. It sounds like you had some trials in getting her here, but I'm glad she made it healthy and everything turned out well for you both.
